In general, Targa Trophy puts on about three events each year. I show up expecting awesome and I leave knowing that what I experienced was nothing short of amazing! My compliments to the organizers at Targa Trophy -- they have a way of making every single one of these events more mind-blowing than the last. This past weekend my dad and I flew to the Laguna Seca racetrack for the AMG Driving Academy — a world-renowned driver-training program that came to the United States from Germany in 2009. This was the first time I have had the opportunity to drive cars with this much horsepower, at these speeds and with this much aggression around a racetrack.

At the recent Targa Trophy Experience in Los Angeles on August 27^th, 2011, the rally route included three checkpoints along the course, and as proof of competition, each contestant had to take a picture of themselves at each checkpoint and upload it to the Targa Trophy Facebook page.  What we didn’t know then was that the pictures submitted for checkpoint #1 would turn into more than just proof of competition.

Targa Trophy’s #3 Experience event invaded Los Angeles this past weekend! 150 super cars and 300 attendees took to the streets in hopes of coming in first place in the last Targa Trophy Experience event this year. The cars were gorgeous, the women were sexy and the weather was scorching!!!
